Configure User Mapping

In order to make API calls to SAP we need to provide a user for each call. This can be done via the SAP username.

You can currently use a static mapping via SAP username, which can be stored within the configuration in Jira. Just follow the Step-by-Step Guide on this page.

Upcoming Mapping via email

We are currently working on a dynamic Mapping via email address of the Jira and SAP User.

Step-by-Step Guide

In the admin section of our app you can map individual Jira users to an SAP user. When no user mapping is provided, the app tries to use the email adress.

1In Jira, navigate to Admin Menu (cog wheel) → Apps SAP Transport Panel User Mapping.

Click on Add Mapping → pick a Jira User and enter the wished SAP Username → Add.

The issue view page needs to be refreshed, if you change the User Mapping in a different Tab and want delete or add a transport in the issue view

If you want to search for a specific user, you can pick them in the search field by entering their name/e-mail and clicking.

To remove the filter you just click on Clear filter.

To edit or delete an existing user mapping, you can click the respective Action icons in the actions column.
