Install SAP Transport Panel in SAP ECC or SAP S/4 HANA

The installation fields of the SAP component of SAP Transport Panel are delivered via an ERP transport request. 

Step-by-Step guide

The core components to import the transport request are described in the following table.

Receive the installation files via an ERP transport request with:

  1. the namespace /IX2/
  2. the package /IX2/JTMS
  3. all objects contained in the package
  4. an additional transport request with the basic customizing

Check text file Transport notes.txt

You receive a text file Transport notes.txt together with the ERP transport requests.
The text file Transport notes.txt displays the exact names of the transports and their order of import.
You need to read the text file Transport notes.txt before you import the ERP transport requests.

3Call the transaction STMS. 
4Navigate to the import overview or use the F5 key.

Select the system into which you want to import the transport of SAP Transport Panel via the truck symbol.

To ensure a smooth process, we recommend importing the transports to all systems.

6Add the transport to the import queue via Extras → Additional requests → Add.
7Mark the transport in the import queue.

Start the import via the truck symbol or use the keyboard shortcut CTRL+F11.
