Step-by-step guide

StepProcedureExample
1

In your issue view, find the SAP Transport Panel listing all transports linked to your issue.

2Click on the Plus symbol found in the upper right corner of the panel to open the Add Transport dialog window.

3

Enter the SAP transport number into the corresponding field.

The Cancel button will close the window without any changes to your issue.

4

Click on Add to proceed.

The transport and issue will now be linked in both Jira and SAP. Only if both links are successfully created will the transport be listed in the web panel.

  • You can only add transports that already exist in SAP. To create a new transport, please use the Create transport post function instead.
  • You can`t add a transport to an issue more than once. If it is already linked, you will be notified of an error.
  • You can also view all tasks related to the transport by expanding the transport.
  • You can also change the order of the transport links, using the arrow icons in the Transport Panel. This could be relevant, when the deployment order of the transports is necessary to avoid subsequent errors.
